Committed to the Vision

“A safe and healthy home for every person.” Rebuilding Together Indianapolis (RTI) recently received a National Conference Scholarship, awarded by the Rebuilding Together National Association. This opportunity supported the participation of two local board members at the National Conference, which allowed them to expand their knowledge of Rebuilding Together best practices across the country.

RTI President, David Werking of ERMCO, Inc. and Past President Bill Davis of Key Bank attended. David commented, “Attending the national conference is a big part of the local board’s commitment to assuring that we are putting forth the best possible program in striving to meet the expectations of our community, sponsors and volunteers.”

Werking added, “What an amazing event. The ideas implemented throughout the country revitalizing communities can be overwhelming. RTI will focus on building what makes sense for our community into a strategic plan over the next few years to prepare us for making a positive impact on the lives of the homeowners we touch for many years to come.”

The conference came at a perfect time as RTI is gearing up for their next build season. This year’s Game Day will be taking place on Saturday, April 29th, 2017 in the Westside CDC Haughville neighborhood. Stay tuned for more information, including volunteer and sponsorship opportunities!
