City County Council Recognizes Success of Rebuilding Together Indianapolis
The City County Council recognized Rebuilding Together Indianapolis for its commitment to Indianapolis neighborhood revitalization. Bill Davis, Craig Jackson and John Griffin accepted the award on behalf of Rebuilding Together Indianapolis. The council thanked Rebuilding Together Indianapolis for their continued commitment to improving our city by strengthening our neighborhoods on home at a time.
Ironically, at the same meeting, the Council endorsed naming the new Transit Center after former Congresswoman Julia Carson. Bill Davis commented that it seemed appropriate because Julia was a long standing supporting of Rebuilding Together Indianapolis and strengthening the core of our city with grass roots programs like ours.
