Rebuilding Together® preserves and revitalizes houses and communities, assuring that low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly and disabled and families with children, may continue to live in warmth,safety and independence.

 

Our goal is to make a sustainable impact
in partnership with the community.

Selection Process

​​

The selection process takes place locally. Qualified homeowners are low-income, elderly or disabled and unable to make the needed repairs themselves. Referrals come from a variety of sources including non-profit agencies, police departments, social service organizations, churches, and synagogues.

 

The Rebuilding Together ® Indianapolis program invites over 20 neighborhood organizations to apply for the program. A selection committee is formed from the Rebuilding Together ® Indianapolis Board of Directors to select the Neighborhood of the Year. Once the neighborhood is selected, individual homeowners were asked to apply.
